Are you a carrying an intracranial aneurysm? are you a neurosurgeon or a neuroradiologist ? please contact us.

StrokeLab provides medical doctors with relevant decision-supporting information about the specific intracranial aneurysms of patients.

StrokeLab's Aneurysm Hemodynamic Simulation Report provides structured information and imagery such as wall shear stress contours, velocity iso-surfaces, oscillatory shear patterns, with and without an endovascular device, supporting the selection and the planning for adequate treatment.

Medical doctors also use the report as illustration material to facilitate the dialogue with the patient.

When a patient is diagnosed with an unruptured asymptomatic intracranial aneurysm, medical imaging datasets are available (standard MRI, CTA, DSA) and no additional scans are required. The neurosurgeon or the neuroradiologist may undertake a deeper investigation supported by hemodynamic numerical simulation. The specialist fills in a questionnaire containing patient profile information (such as age, gender, diabetes, weight etc.) and sends it together with the medical imaging datasets to StrokeLab (CD, DVD or FTP upload). Any confidential information is removed prior to the upload.
